Selling my 2007 Honda VTX 1300 Retro. After having enjoyed riding in years past, I no longer have the free time to do it these days, so instead of letting the bike sit in my garage I have decided to find it a new home. I am the second owner, purchasing the bike in 2010 with just over 1,000 miles on it so I am familiar with the bike's history, maintenance, and can even tell you some really cool stories if you are interested. Clear title, never wrecked, never laid down, always garaged when not riding.Only 12,314 miles are on the bike and maintenance has been performed even more often than Honda’s schedule calls for. All fluids have been regularly changed (even ahead of scheduled maintenance intervals) including engine/transmission oil, rear end lube, coolant, and brake fluid. Valve clearance inspections have also been performed every 5,000 miles. Tires are Dunlop D404s 170/80-15 on the rear; 140/80-17 on the front. Tires were new in 2016 and have approximately 5,000 miles of highway riding on them - still lots to go.The stock exhaust has been upgraded to a set of full length Road Burner double-wall pipes and an Arlen Ness 'Big Sucker' breather with a K&N air filter was installed at the same time. All chrome is like-new. Other accessories and upgrades include the Mustang studded deep saddle with integrated rear seat, studded tank bra, 39" beach handlebars, chrome front fender rail, mermaid figurehead on front fender, JBL Bluetooth stereo and speakers, custom 'Jolly Roger' tank emblems, Show Chrome light bar and highway bar, highway pegs and dog bones, and a Memphis Shades custom windshield. New battery installed in 2017.I have used the bike as a show piece for fund raisers and am also including the rear trunk if the buyer would like it. The trunk is a one-of-a-kind piece custom made "pirate ship" design for this bike so I will not need it once the bike is sold. It was designed to provide roomy storage while transforming the bike into a one-of-a-kind eye-catching machine, and bolts on directly over the factory tail lights, fender, and tag holder and features LED Tail Lights and Turn Signals. It attaches to the frame with four bolts in the frame's factory holes and a concealed wiring harness makes plugging the trunk up a simple '1-click' operation. You can see the details put into the trunk in the photos so I won't list them all here - suffice it to say it's intricate. I understand it it's not your style, but if you're interested, it's included.I have enjoyed owning this bike as you can see, but my lack of free time now warrants finding someone else to continue that enjoyment. I’m in the Murrells Inlet area just south of Myrtle Beach and would be happy for you to come by for a test ride.Yes, the bike is real, as is the deal. Let’s talk. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. Thanks for looking and I look forward to hearing from you.
