Where do you even start! For one thing, what you see is what you get. With a bike, nothing’s hidden under a hood or behind doors. And that’s especially true of a “naked” bike, a machine where you can see the engine and the frame and just about everything else.Bikes like these make sense—they’re light and elemental and pure. And they can also be a ton of fun. Especially a machine like the all-new 2018 Honda CB650FWhile you may not have seen this machine before, we’ve been refining it for several years over in Europe. Now it’s your turn, and like a European supermodel, the CB650F is honed, toned and gorgeous. We started with the engine from our popular CBR650F. Offering an 11,000 rpm redline, we gave it shorter gear ratios to ensure some rigorous acceleration through the midrange. Revised intakes and a free-breathing exhaust mean more peak power too. In short, it’s a blast to ride. And check out those 4-into-1 exhaust pipes—a styling touch to one of the most iconic Hondas ever, the CB400F Supersport.Genuine middleweight four-cylinder motorcycles are an important Honda tradition, and bigger isn’t always better. With the new CB650F you get more of what matters performance, acceleration, style and handling ability without adding weight or cost. Features may include: Power Up! The 649cc engine uses a compact internal architecture, stacked six-speed gearbox and starter/cl

The “Ultimate” model is exceptional in the design and features not found in any other trike conversion. It was designed for ride comfort and handling and they did a great job. This is an exceptional bike. My wife and I went on a 13,000 mile ride and took three and one half months through the East into Cannada, Novascocia, over the Cabot Trail, down St Laurance Seaway, over the Great Lakes and back to SLC. We were confortable and did not get fatigued. In the words of Trike Shop in 1990:Not content with being the best, The Trike Shop talks with hundreds of customers as part of a massive effort to determine what works, what could be improved, and what more riders want. We saw the beginning of the motorcycle trike conversions. We found that while most trike owners were very happy with their machines, there was room for improvement. The Trike Shop met this challenge by re-imagining everything from the ground up. Most complained about the rough ride the current conversions offered, and their installation was tricky at best. Also there were allot of maintenance and servicing issues. The result is what we called The Ultimate Trike Conversion kit for Honda's. They featured: Independent suspension and a longer wheelbase to ensure a smooth ride with exceptional control. Our exclusive steering design lets you turn easier, for extended periods of time. An auxiliary fuel tank on some models. A spacious trunk is added with a large watertight door. The entire kit is designed so the installation is simpler and faster and can be accomplished in only one to two days. Low maintenance. No alignment adjustments. Bulletproof automotive drive shaft.

1973 Honda CL450, Honda started exporting motorcycles to the United States in 1959. After a rocky start, sales took off, especially after the “You Meet the Nicest People on a Honda” advertising campaign. Yoshiro Harada, in charge of the development of the 450, is quoted in Honda’s official history as saying, “In 1960 the U.S. market for large motorcycles was approximately 60,000 units annually. Of these, most were imports from British makers. The Japanese market was comparatively much smaller, with monthly sales of several hundred units. But through our understanding of the situation we decided to develop a 450cc bike, specifically a mass-production model, that could be sold in the U.S. as well as Japan.” The British manufacturers were coasting on their success, distributing as much of their profits to shareholders as possible and not upgrading their factories. In contrast, Honda had put its profits into a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Suzuka, Japan. Up and running in 1960, the new factory could turn out highly developed motorcycles at reasonable cost. Quality control — apparently of little interest to the British companies — was a byword in Japan. For some reason, the British believed that their Japanese counterparts had no interest in building large capacity motorcycles. They were wrong. In 1964, the British industry received a shock when a visiting journalist discovered a mid-sized twin undergoing tests on the Suzuka track. Honda’s CB450, aka the Black Bomber, appeared in the U.S. in August 1965. Power came from a 444cc dual overhead cam parallel twin, making it the first mass-produced dual overhead cam motorcycle. Running 8.5:1 compression with a 180-degree crankshaft, Honda claimed 43 horsepower at the crankshaft and a top speed of 98mph.

NICE  early all original paint high pipe street scrambler.low miles and in real nice condition.been climate controlled stored all its life, and it shows.these were only made for the USA market thus the number sold verses nice ones left is getting smaller every year. since they were only  USA model the foreign buyers  absorb a large % age of them when their $ is strong to our dollar. these are wonderful bikes for 2 up motoring down the interstate, and equally at home riding 20-30 mph around town.the engines are dependable and robust. there are MANY more miles left in this one.buy one while they are still affordable. this is the last one i have in my collection.i had been keeping this one but decided to let it go as well,as i just dont ride them much anymore

1968 Triumph Trophy 250, In the late 1960s, the adventure motorcycle was still a decade away, so if you wanted to play in the dirt with a road bike, you’d choose from the street scramblers then on sale — like something from Honda’s CL range, for example. These were by no means serious dirt bikes, just street machines with a high-level exhaust and maybe braced handlebars. Triumph’s entry into this market was the TR25W Trophy. Intended to replace the 200cc Tiger Cub in the catalog, the baby Trophy was essentially a BSA Starfire 250 with “Triumph” on the gas tank, high bars and a high exhaust. It represented one of BSA-Triumph’s last desperate attempts to keep their superannuated quarter-liter singles relevant. The 1971 B25T and B25SS “Gold Star” was their swan song. At the heart of the Trophy was BSA’s overhead valve 4-stroke single, developed from the unit-construction C15 of 1957, and pumped up from its original 15 horsepower to 24 horsepower for 1969. And while mid-1960s BSA 250s had a built-up crank with a roller bearing big end, this was changed to a plain bearing and split connecting rod for 1968. The Trophy’s 67mm piston ran in an iron-lined alloy cylinder and drove a one-piece crankshaft with bolt-on flywheels and a 70mm stroke. The main bearings were roller on the drive side and ball on the timing side, with drive to the wet multiplate clutch and 4-speed transmission by chain. The pushrods were lifted by a single camshaft, and the rockers had eccentric shafts to adjust valve clearance. A 28mm Amal Concentric fed fuel and ignition was by battery, coil and contact breaker, with automatic advance. The drivetrain fitted into a single downtube frame similar to that of the contemporary Victor, and also shared its BSA hydraulic fork, paired coil spring/damper units and 7-inch single-leading-shoe drum brakes. The high level header pipe was on the right side in 1968-1969 and on the left for 1970. The gas tank (and side panels) were also unique to the TR25W — fiberglass for 1968, and steel for 1969-1970. Other changes during production included a compression boost to 10:1, and an upgrade for the front brake to twin-leading-shoe for 1969.

The Honda CL90 is a 4-stroke 90cc OHC motorcycle built by Honda between 1967 and 1969. The CL designation indicated this model to be the "Scrambler" version which implied some off-road capability prior to actual dirt-bikes gaining popularity. The CL series of bikes were actually street bikes with a higher rear fender, a braced handlebar, and a high-mount exhaust. The transmission was a 4-speed with a manual clutch. The serial number This CL90 has 2,510 original miles. It starts and runs like new. New tires and battery. It is the perfect bike for restoring to Concours condition or to ride around town. The gas tank has never been painted and there are scratches on the frame near the key. Key and seat are not original.Great for beginners, however is it 51 years old so I would prefer it goes to someone that wants to keep it stock or restore it. Hate to sell it but I am going to be traveling soon so I need to get down to one bike. Hagerty Current Values#1 Concours $4,000Condition #1 vehicles are the best in the world.
