2027 YAMAHA YZ250F,

Meet the 2027 Yamaha YZ250F in Team Yamaha Blue—a bike that looks like it’s already halfway to the holeshot while it’s still on the stand. This is pure motocross attitude wrapped in off-road purpose, built around a lightweight aluminum frame and tough plastic bodywork that’s ready to get roosted, washed, and sent right back out.

At its heart is a 250cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder 4-stroke with DOHC and 4 valves working with a punchy 14.1:1 compression ratio. Feed it regular gas, thumb the electric starter, and let the Mikuni 44mm fuel injection handle the breathing while you focus on lines, braking markers, and staying on the pipe. Power hits the ground through a crisp 5-speed manual and chain final drive—simple, direct, and exactly what you want when every shift matters.

Suspension is all about control when the track gets rough. Up front, an inverted KYB fork delivers 12.2 inches of travel with adjustable preload and rebound damping, and out back a KYB shock on a twin-sided swingarm provides 12.3 inches of travel with adjustable spring preload and rebound damping. Translation: whether you’re charging braking bumps or floating a jump face, you’ve got the tools to dial it in.

The rolling gear keeps it classic and confident: Excel aluminum wheels (chromed) with tubed Dunlop Geomax rubber—MX33F 80/100-21 up front and MX33 110/90-19 in the rear—ready to bite into corners and claw forward out of them. Braking is handled by hydraulic discs with a 270mm front and 240mm rear, and the bike comes with smart protection touches like a brake rotor/caliper guard, chain guard, chassis protectors, and fork guards.

With a 38.2-inch seat height, a slim one-piece vinyl seat, 13.8 inches of ground clearance, and a wet weight of just 236 lbs, the YZ250F feels like a serious race machine—because it is. And with mobile app instrumentation, it brings a modern edge to a track-ready package that’s all business… in unmistakable Team Yamaha Blue.
