At the heart of this PW50 is a 49cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled 2-stroke engine with a reed valve setup—small in size, classic in character, and paired with a carburetor for straightforward, no-nonsense fun. Starting is old-school and satisfying with a kick starter, and it runs on regular fuel with gas/oil injection. There’s also a speed governor on board, helping keep early rides more manageable as confidence builds.



One of the best parts for beginners: it’s automatic with a single speed. That means less time thinking about shifting and more time focusing on the essentials—balance, steering, braking, and learning how to ride smoothly. Power goes to the rear wheel through a shaft primary drive, keeping things tidy and simple.



The steel frame and lightweight plastics help keep this trail-ready package feeling approachable, and at a wet weight of 90 lbs, it’s easy to handle for smaller riders.
