Drenched in Kawasaki’s signature Lime Green, this 2027 KX250 looks like it was poured out of a starting gate and never stopped accelerating. It’s a full-size MX machine built for the off-road world—lean, loud (in spirit), and laser-focused on dirt time, not downtime.



At the heart of it is a 249cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder 4-stroke with DOHC and 4 valves working with a high 14.1:1 compression ratio to deliver the kind of snap that makes corners feel like launch ramps. Feeding that fire is Keihin fuel injection with a 44mm injector, so throttle response stays sharp and consistent—then an electric starter brings it all to life with a button press when you’re ready to get back into the rhythm. Power runs through a 5-speed manual and out to the rear wheel via a chain drive, keeping things direct and race-simple.



The chassis is built around an aluminum frame that’s made to feel precise when the track gets rough. Up front, Showa 49mm inverted forks offer 12 inches of travel and adjustable rebound damping, helping you keep your line when braking bumps try to vote you off the track. Out back, the UNI-TRAK rear setup pairs an aluminum swingarm with 12.1 inches of travel, plus adjustability for spring pre-load and rebound damping, so you can tune it to your pace and your terrain.



Rolling stock is all business: aluminum wheels with tubed Dunlop Geomax MX33 tires󈠠/100-21 up front and 110/90-19 in the rear—ready to bite into loam, hardpack, and everything between. When it’s time to scrub speed, the bike answers with disc brakes front and rear, including a 270mm front rotor with a 2-piston caliper and a 240mm rear rotor with a 1-piston caliper.
