2027 KAWASAKI KX112,

Meet the 2027 Kawasaki KX112 in Lime Green—the kind of youth MX machine that looks fast standing still and feels even quicker the moment your right hand gets busy. Built for off-road fun and progression, it’s a lightweight, focused ride that helps growing racers sharpen skills and chase that next lap-time grin.

At the heart of this KX112 is a liquid-cooled, 112cc single-cylinder 2-stroke with a reed valve setup, fed by a Keihin 28mm carburetor and gas/oil injection. Translation: crisp response, a lively hit, and the kind of punch that makes corners feel like launch ramps. Starting is old-school and satisfying with a kick starter—simple, direct, and ready when you are. Pair that with a manual 6-speed transmission (with overdrive) and you’ve got plenty of room to learn clutch control, stay in the power, and stretch gears down longer straights.

The chassis keeps things purpose-built: a steel frame with durable plastic bodywork, rubber hand grips, and steel foot pegs for solid boot-on-bike connection. Suspension is where confidence builds—an inverted 36mm front fork with adjustable rebound damping and 10.8 inches of travel helps the front end track through chop, while the UNI-TRAK rear setup (aluminum swingarm, single shock) brings 12 inches of travel plus adjustable spring preload and rebound damping. That means you can tune feel as skills climb—so the bike can grow with the rider.

Rolling on aluminum wheels with tubed Dunlop Geomax MX34 tires (70/100R19 front, 90/100R16 rear), it’s set up for real dirt work, not just casual cruising. When it’s time to check speed, disc brakes front and rear deliver dependable stopping power: a 240mm front disc with a 2-piston caliper and a 220mm rear disc with a 1-piston caliper.

With a 34.1-inch seat height, 13 inches of ground clearance, and a compact 51.6-inch wheelbase, the KX112 feels eager, agile, and ready to play in ruts, berms, and whoops. Top it off with a one-piece vinyl seat, a kickstand, fork guards, and an exhaust guard, and this Lime Green ripper is primed for dirt-first adventures—one gear shift at a time.
