At the heart of this dirt-minded ride is a 233cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine with a SOHC 2-valve setup and Keihin fuel injection (32mm). Tap the electric starter, let it settle on regular gas, and you’re set to chase singletrack, practice your cornering, or just disappear down the next two-track for a while. A 6-speed manual transmission keeps you in control when the terrain changes from smooth and fast to slow and technical, and the chain final drive brings that power to the ground with a classic, no-nonsense feel.



This KLX230R is built with the trail in mind: a steel frame, plastic bodywork, and a confident stance with 11.4 inches of ground clearance. Up front, a 37mm telescopic fork delivers 9.8 inches of travel, matched by a UNI-TRAK rear setup with 9.8 inches of travel, plus adjustable spring pre-load and rebound damping—so you can dial it in for your pace and your terrain. It rolls on aluminum wheels with tubed tires󈠠/100-21 front and 100/100-18 rear—for that classic off-road footprint.



When it’s time to rein things in, hydraulic disc brakes handle the job: a 240mm front disc with a 2-piston caliper and a 220mm rear disc with a 1-piston caliper.
