Turn the volume up on your next moto day with this Orange / Black 2027 KTM 85 SX 17/14—a purpose-built motorcross machine that brings big-track attitude to a perfectly sized off-road package. Dressed in that unmistakable Orange / Black look, it doesn’t just show up at the gate—it announces itself.

At the heart of the fun is a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, 2-stroke engine with 84.9cc of displacement, breathing through a Keihin 28mm carburetor and a reed valve setup. It’s a classic premix experience—gas/oil premix, premium fuel, and a straightforward kick starter that keeps things simple and race-focused. With self valve adjustment, it’s designed to keep your attention where it belongs: on lines, throttle control, and the next corner.

Power is delivered through a 6-speed manual transmission, driving the rear wheel via chain with a gear primary drive—ideal for riders who want to learn momentum, clutch feel, and gear selection the way motocross intended. The lightweight attitude shows in its 149.9 lb dry weight, giving it a quick, responsive feel that’s easy to place in ruts and flick through transitions.

The chassis is built around a chromium molybdenum frame with protective touches like fork guards, a frame guard, exhaust guard, and a radiator cover—smart details for real riding days. Up front, the WP XACT inverted fork (43mm) offers 10.9 in. of travel with adjustable rebound damping. In back, the WP XACT shock on a twin sided swing arm delivers 11.4 in. of travel, with adjustable spring pre-load and adjustable rebound damping to help dial in feel for different tracks.
