2027 KTM 500 EXC-F,

Meet the Orange / Black 2027 KTM 500 EXC-F, a dual-sport troublemaker that’s perfectly happy splitting its time between pavement and the kind of dirt roads that turn “quick ride” into an all-day story. Dressed in that unmistakable Orange / Black combo, it looks like it’s already in motion—even leaning on its kickstand.

At the heart of it all is a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke single-cylinder engine with 510.9 cc of get-up-and-go, breathing through a SOHC 4-valve head. Feed it premium gas, tap the electric start, and let the Keihin fuel injection (42 mm) handle crisp response whether you’re crawling through a sketchy trail entrance or rolling out onto open backroads. Power runs through a 6-speed manual with overdrive, backed by a Pankl transmission and a chain drive that keeps the connection direct and satisfying.

This bike’s stance says “keep going.” A chromium molybdenum frame and 253.5 lb dry weight help it feel purposeful and agile, while a 58.6-inch wheelbase balances stability with quick direction changes. And when the road ends—on purpose—the 13.7 inches of ground clearance is your quiet confidence to take the line that looks like it might be a bad idea (until it isn’t).

Suspension is ready to play in the rough: a WP XACT 48 mm inverted fork up front with 11.8 inches of travel and adjustable rebound, plus a WP XPLOR rear setup with 12.2 inches of travel, adjustable preload, and adjustable rebound. The aluminum swing arm helps keep things tight and responsive when the terrain gets choppy.

Rolling on aluminum wheels with Continental TKC 80 tires (90/90 R21 front, 140/80 R18 rear), it’s set up for real on-off road exploring. And when it’s time to rein things in, Brembo hydraulic discs mm up front and 220 mm in back—deliver the kind of braking that makes you ride a little braver.

Add in LED lighting, hand/chain/fork/frame/exhaust guards, and a one-piece vinyl seat perched at 37.9 inches, and you’ve got a lean, street-legal adventure tool that’s always ready for “one more mile.”
