Meet the 2027 KTM 300 XC-W, an enduro-bred off-road machine that looks as fast as it feels—especially in Orange / Black, the kind of color combo that practically begs for roost and finish-line photos.



At the heart of this XC-W is a 293.2cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder 2-stroke that’s all about lively response and trail-hungry energy. With 49 bhp (36.6 kW) and 32.3 ft-lbs of torque (43.8 Nm) on tap, it delivers that crisp, punchy pull that makes tight singletrack, sandy climbs, and fast two-track feel like your natural habitat. The reed valve setup and gas / oil injected fueling keep things modern and precise, with a Keihin 39mm fuel injector handling the metering duties. Hit the button and go—electric start means fewer delays and more riding, and it’s built to run on premium fuel.



When the trail opens up (or turns into a maze), the 6-speed manual gearbox gives you options, capped off with overdrive for those stretches where you want to let it breathe. Power gets to the ground via a chain drive, and the transmission comes from Pankl, adding a confidence-inspiring feel every time you click through the gears.



Underneath, the chromium molybdenum frame is paired with serious suspension: a WP XACT inverted 48mm fork with 11.8 in (300 mm) of travel and adjustable rebound damping, and a WP XPLOR rear setup with 12.2 in (310 mm) of travel plus adjustable preload and rebound. With 13.7 in (347 mm) of ground clearance, it’s happy to skim over the stuff that stops lesser bikes.



Stopping power comes from Brembo hydraulic discs front and rear, while Dunlop AT82 tires wrap Giant aluminum wheels (21-inch front, 18-inch rear) for that classic off-road stance.
