2027 Husqvarna Motorcycles Norden 901 Expedition,

Meet the 2027 Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition in —a travel-ready machine that looks like it was built to chase horizons, then keep going when the pavement quits. That finish pairs perfectly with the Norden’s purposeful stance: tall, tidy, and clearly comfortable living somewhere between “commute” and “campfire.”

At the heart of it is an 889cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke parallel twin with DOHC and 8 valves, tuned to bring the fun where you actually use it.2 bhp at 8000 rpm and a stout 73.8 ft-lb of torque at 6500 rpm. Feed it premium gas, thumb the electric start, and let the fuel-injected Dell’Orto system (46mm) and ram air induction do their thing while you click through the 6-speed manual and let the chain drive turn scenery into a blur. Bonus: with a 52.3 mpg combined rating and a big 5.8-gallon (22L) tank, it’s happy to stretch a day’s ride into a “why go home?” ride.

The Expedition attitude isn’t just engine-deep. You get serious stance and control thanks to WP XPLOR suspension—a 48mm inverted fork with 9.4 inches (240mm) of travel and adjustable rebound damping up front, matched to a rear setup with the same travel plus preload and rebound adjustability. Add a steering damper, 10.6 inches (270mm) of ground clearance, and tubeless 21-inch front / 18-inch rear wheels wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires, and you’ve got a bike that’s ready for on-off road detours that suddenly become the main plan.

Stopping power comes from J.Juan brakes—dual 320mm front discs with 4-piston calipers and a 260mm rear disc with a 2-piston caliper—while practical touches like a center stand, multiple guards (hand, engine case, exhaust, and more), and a comfortable two-piece adjustable seat help it feel like a real partner for long days.

And when the miles stack up, it keeps things civilized with heated grips, a tinted, folding high LED windscreen, plus Bluetooth audio and mobile app instrumentation controlled right from the handlebar. Two included vinyl saddlebags finish the job—because adventures are better when you can bring a little extra along.
