2027 HONDA CRF50F,

Meet the Red 2027 Honda CRF50F, a pint-size trail machine with big-time “let’s go ride” energy. Finished in classic Red, it looks ready to chase afternoon adventures the moment it rolls off the stand—whether that’s laps in the backyard, a first taste of the dirt, or just learning the rhythm of throttle, brake, and balance.

At its heart is a 49cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine with a SOHC, 2-valve setup and a 10:1 compression ratio—a simple, confidence-building combination that’s made for steady fun. Fueling comes via a carburetor (with a single 11mm carb), it runs on regular gas, and it meets CARB off-road emissions standards. Starting is old-school and satisfying with a kick starter, and there’s a speed governor to help keep things manageable as skills grow.

The riding experience is tuned for young riders: a 3-speed setup with a manual transmission / automatic clutch means shifting can be part of the journey without the added stress of coordinating a hand clutch right away. Power goes to the rear wheel through a chain drive—straightforward and trail-proven.

Sized to feel friendly, it measures about 51.3 inches long with a 36-inch wheelbase, a low 21.6-inch seat height, and a manageable 111 lb wet weight. With 6 inches of ground clearance, it’s happy to scoot over the kind of bumps and ruts that make trail rides feel like real adventures. A steel frame and steel wheels keep things sturdy, while the plastic bodywork (including front and rear fenders) is ready for the usual scuffs of learning.

Up front, an inverted fork with 3.8 inches of travel and fork guards helps take the edge off uneven ground, while the rear twin sided swing arm suspension provides 2.8 inches of travel. Braking is simple and consistent with drum brakes front and rear, and the bike rolls on 10-inch tubed tires (2.50-10 front and rear).

From the rubber grips to the one-piece vinyl seat, plus thoughtful protection like an engine case guard and exhaust guard, this Red CRF50F is all about making first trail memories—and wanting to make a hundred more.
