2026 YAMAHA Tenere 700,

In , the 2026 Yamaha Ténéré 700 looks like it’s already halfway to the horizon—just waiting on you to pick a direction and twist the throttle. (If you’re color-shopping, the model also comes in Team Yamaha Blue and Tech Titanium, but this one wears with the kind of “let’s get lost” attitude an Adventure Touring bike should have.)

At its core is a liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 689cc parallel-twin—a 4-stroke, DOHC, 8-valve setup that’s happy on regular gas and eager to turn every on-ramp into a grin. The 6-speed manual transmission keeps you in charge, and the chain drive out back gives that direct, mechanical connection that makes a long day in the saddle feel like an accomplishment, not a commute.

This machine is built for that On-Off Road life. With 9.4 inches of ground clearance, it’s ready to skim over ruts and rocks, and the stance feels purpose-built: a 62.8-inch wheelbase with 27° rake and 4.1 inches of trail for stability when the scenery gets wild. Up front, the 43mm inverted fork brings 8.3 inches of travel, with adjustable pre-load and rebound damping so you can tune it for your loadout—camp gear, passenger, or just your own ambitious plans. The rear twin-sided swingarm setup offers 7.9 inches of travel, plus adjustable spring pre-load and rebound damping to match the day’s terrain.

The wheel and tire combo leans into real adventure intent: 21-inch front and 18-inch rear steel wheels with tubed Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR rubber (90/90 R21 front, 150/70 R18 rear). And when the trail turns back into pavement—or the pavement turns unpredictable—Brembo braking delivers confidence with a dual hydraulic front disc and hydraulic rear disc.

Comfort and practicality come along for the ride, too. There’s a one-piece two-up seat, 34.4-inch seat height, LED lighting, and smart touches like hand guards, fork guards, heel guards, and an exhaust guard. Add Bluetooth audio and mobile app instrumentation, and the Ténéré 700 balances “go anywhere” grit with just enough modern connection to keep the adventure organized.

With a 4.2-gallon tank and 459 lb wet weight, this Ténéré 700 is ready to turn “someday” into “today.”
