2026 SUZUKI DR-Z4S,

Meet the 2026 Suzuki DR-Z4S in —a dual-sport that looks ready to misbehave in all the best ways. Whether you’re threading through city streets or aiming for the dusty line that disappears past the pavement, this on-off road machine has that “let’s see what’s over there” attitude baked right in. And yes, this model also comes in Champion Yellow No.2 / Solid Special White No.2 and Solid Iron Gray—but there’s something about that feels like it was chosen by someone who actually rides.

At the heart of the fun is a 398cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine with DOHC and 4 valves, fed by fuel injection through a 42mm injector. It’s built to be straightforward: electric start, runs on regular gas, and pairs with a 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive, sending power to the rear via a chain. The 11.1:1 compression keeps things lively, while the liquid/air cooling setup is there to help you keep going when the day gets long.

Dual-sport confidence comes from the stance and the numbers: a tall 36.2-inch seat height, a legit 11.8 inches of ground clearance, and long-travel suspension at both ends󈟛 inches up front and 11.6 inches in the rear. Suzuki fits KYB components with adjustable rebound damping front and rear, plus rear preload adjustment, so you can dial it in for solo exploring or toss a passenger on the back and still keep the ride composed.

The DR-Z4S rolls on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear tubed wheels with IRC GP-410 tires, backed up by hydraulic disc brakes—a 270mm front disc with a 2-piston caliper and a 240mm rear disc with a 1-piston caliper. Add in practical protection like guards for the rotor/caliper, chain, engine cases, fork, and exhaust, and it’s clear this bike expects you to take the “scenic route” that turns into the “rough route.”

With a 333 lb wet weight, 2.3-gallon fuel capacity, a durable mix of aluminum/steel in the frame, LED lighting, and a simple handlebar steering setup, the DR-Z4S in is less about excuses and more about adventures—planned or accidentally discovered.
