For sale is my 2003 BMW R1150GS Adventure, the iconic adventure bike made famous by Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman in Long Way Round. This is the desirable Adventure model with the factory aluminum fuel tank, and it's becoming increasingly difficult to find clean, unmolested examples, especially here on the East Coast.

This bike has 30,970 original miles, has been lightly used, and is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. It doesn't need anything - just get on and ride. Meticulously cared for by senior owners. Exhaust is SBK which provides a great throaty sound and ample breathing. It comes with 2 aluminum panniers.

I bought the motorcycle from a collector in California, conducted a PPI at a BMW dealer and shipped it to NY. So its very dry. I just don't get to ride it as much as I would like and I have also 3 other bikes (2 of which are older GS).
