I built this bike in the early 1970's. I started the Build with a new engine and decided to take the best parts from Hodaka (frame), rimes and Leading-Link front end. The gas tank and seat are from a Steen/Alsport Hodaka. The flat panel metal tank that is on the bike, looks so much better than Hodaka's offers at that time. The telescopic front end on the Hodaka didn't perform very well, so I was very lucky to have found one. The Steen/Alsport frames outside of the Rickman were weak compared to the Box Hodaka frame. I freshened up the bike for my daughter when she was twelve. She lost interest in riding only after a year or two. I'm sorry to say it's time to find a new caring owner/family. The following list is what has been replaced or is included in this offering.
