1964 Royal Enfield INTERCEPTOR

  THIS IS A RARE opportunity to acquire  mechanic owned rare royal enfield interceptor.These interceptors are a pure joy to ride ,look at and to hear  the motor work. the motor is HUGE due to it being a  wet sump design. advangages: no wet sumping from a overhead oil tank to worry about from a dry sump set up. these are coveted collectables to the knowledgable collector. this bike has been totally restored including a frame off restoration, new powder coated black pieces, new professional sheetmetal repaint, total engine overhaul,  magneto rebuilt, new tires, chrome,etc,etc.these were limited production bikes when new and expensive. they competed in price with a new harley davidson duo glide . also this interceptor was usually the fastest bike sold when they sat in the dealers showroom.this bike is like new and my mechanic is thinning his herd due to limited space .if you are looking for a dependable bike that is different from the common Harley or Triumph .this is a great bike for someone to enjoy. 10,000 original chassis miles from new.only thing wrong with it is i lost a foot peg rubber last ride i took on it .---Most interceptors sell in the $10,000-$15,000 price range. this is what he has in it and will take his money back.($8900) the labor was all free( easily another $4-5,000 worth of  labor time was spent on this bike) this is the way to buy a bike ( all work being done for a reasonable  purchase price)
