Harley-Davidson Revives Super Glide for America’s 250th Anniversary
Harley-Davidson is digging deep into the archives for more inspiration as it continues to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States. The Motor Company has just announced the revival of the Super Glide nameplate for 2026. Paying tribute to the original 1971 FX Super Glide, a motorcycle widely regarded as its first factory custom, the 2026 Harley-Davidson Super Glide will be limited to 2,500 units in the U.S and Canada.
Finished in White Onyx Pearl with red and blue graphics, the limited-edition model channels one of the earliest designs shaped by Willie G. Davidson. Based on the Softail platform, the new Super Glide features laced wheels, a 5 gal teardrop tank, mini ape handlebars, and a boatload of chrome. The cruiser is powered by the 1,923 cc Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-Twin, making 98 hp and 120 lb-ft of torque.
Not just a nostalgia act, the Super Glide features cornering ABS, cornering traction control, drag torque slip control, LED lighting, a USB-C charging port, tire pressure monitoring, and Road, Sport, and Rain ride modes.
The 2026 Harley-Davidson Super Glide will carry a starting MSRP of $15,999.
