Inspired by the brand’s 125 years of competition history, Indian Motorcycle is embracing its racing heritage with the launch of American Racing Operations (ARO), a new in-house performance division focused on delivering factory-backed upgrades and technology.
Pronounced “arrow,” ARO is Indian Motorcycle’s effort to bring race development and performance technology to their lineup. The new division will offer performance parts and accessories that improve power, handling, and sound.

The first product being launched is the ARO GP Slip-On Exhaust system for select PowerPlus-powered bagger and touring models. Designed in collaboration with Vance & Hines founder and Factory Indian race team principal Terry Vance, the dual slip-on system is said to be inspired from modern road racing exhaust designs.
The slip-on features race-style outlet screens and promises a deeper, more aggressive exhaust note at idle and low RPM than the stop pipes, transitioning into a sharper tone under acceleration. Indian says the system was engineered to amplify both performance and character without sacrificing refinement.
Beginning this weekend at MotoAmerica King of the Baggers at Road America, the Vance & Hines Factory Indian Motorcycle race team will debut an ARO-developed two-into-one race exhaust system built specifically for competition use.

Indian says ARO will expand well beyond exhaust systems, with future offerings to include air intakes, performance hard parts, and additional race-inspired accessories derived from the company’s bagger racing program. The ARO GP Slip-On Exhaust will retail for $799.99 and is scheduled to arrive at dealerships and online in June 2026. Additional ARO products are expected to roll out throughout the remainder of the year.
