The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride returns on Sunday, May 17, 2026, marking the annual event’s 15th anniversary. The most dapper event on the motorcycle calendar, DGR brings thousands of well-dressed riders together every May to raise money and awareness for men’s mental and physical health. Spanning over 1,100 cities in 121 countries around the world, the event has raised over $60 Million USD for various partnering charities during the last 14 years.

Despite the name, women are encouraged to participate in The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride to show their solidarity and support for the cause. Events typically involve a parade-style ride throughout the city in question, followed by a presentation and prizes to celebrate the top fundraisers and best dressed participants.
While vintage bikes are very much encouraged, riders of newer models won’t be turned away. Classic and retro-styled motorcycles are preferred, with most motorcycles in attendance often being of the cafe racer and Bobber variety.
One lucky fundraiser will win a one-off Triumph Speed Twin 1200 DGR Edition motorcycle, complete with a Harris Tweed seat. Outfitted in Competition Green and Aluminum Silver paint, the Triumph Speed Twin 1200 also comes with a 15‑Years‑of‑Dapper graphics package and a unique Certificate of Authenticity.

DGR showcases the refined side of the motorcycle culture, blending sharp style with a meaningful cause. The event raises awareness and funds for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health initiatives, with Movember serving as the official charity partner. This mission has helped turn what began as a niche motorcycle gathering into a globally recognized annual tradition.
