Royal Enfield has expanded its 450 platform once again with the debut of the Guerrilla 450 Apex. Positioned above the standard Guerrilla 450 that was launched in 2024, the Apex variant offers a more style- and street-focused alternative that boasts premium finishes.

The Apex distinguishes itself with higher-spec components, a more aggressive riding style, and an exclusive color palette. The new aluminum handlebar (the standard Guerrilla 450’s is steel) sits 56 mm lower and 57 mm farther forward, resulting in a more spirited riding position. This is complemented by a small cowling above the front LED headlight and a removable rear passenger seat cowling for solo duty. It also gets road-focused 17 in Vredestein Centauro ST tires instead of the Gripp XL tires fitted to the standard Guerrilla 450. Thankfully it also loses the unsightly front fork gaiters.
The Apex makes use of the same liquid-cooled 452 cc Sherpa single-cylinder engine found in the Guerrilla 450 and Himalayan 450s, producing 40 hp and 29.5 lb-ft of torque and mated to a six-speed gearbox. Previous Eco and Performance riding modes have been replaced with Street and Sport modes which are said to provide increased responsiveness and more linear power delivery. The Tripper 4 in TFT digital dash provides infotainment and full-map navigation capabilities.

The standard Guerrilla is currently offered in Smoke Silver, Playa Black, and Brava Blue at an MSRP of $5,299. Details regarding Apex pricing and availability in the U.S. to follow as they become available.
