Triumph Announces Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer Edition
Triumph Motorcycles has revealed another new motorcycle, which in itself, isn’t news. What is news however, is that the recently unveiled Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer Edition fills a gap in the lineup that was left when the remainder of Triumph Thruxton Final Edition models were spoken for. This news comes hot on the heels of the unveiling of the Thruxton 400, offering cafe racer options at both ends of the spectrum.

Based on the Speed Twin 1200 RS, the Cafe Racer Edition adds clip-on handlebars and a brown bullet seat with removable cowl while removing the pillion pegs to reinforce its single-seat cafe racer profile. The pegs come separately if the rider wants the option of riding two-up.
Limited to only 800 units globally, the special edition gets an exclusive British racing-inspired Competition Green and Aluminum Silver color scheme, accented by refined Empire Gold accents that further extend across the seat cowl, side panels, and headlight surround.
Brushed aluminum Monza fuel cap and fenders complement the look. Other exclusive elements include machined bar-end mirrors, sculpted tank knee pads, and ribbed engine cover badges.
Power comes from the liquid-cooled 1200cc parallel-twin engine found in the Bonneville, producing 104 hp at 7,750 rpm. The six-speed transmission features Triumph Shift Assist, offering bi-directional clutchless shifting.
Fully adjustable Marzocchi forks are paired with Öhlins rear suspension, while twin Brembo Stylema calipers bite down on 320 mm discs. Metzeler Racetec RR K3 tires also come standard.
Modern technology has been incorporated into the classic design. The bike offers three riding modes (Road, Rain, and Sport), which are supported by optimized Cornering ABS and Traction Control. The combined LCD/TFT display housed in a traditional round dial provides navigation, and phone connectivity.
Paying homage to the customization and antics of the legendary Ton-Up Boys, this classically-inspired Cafe Racer will begin arriving at U.S. dealers in March 2026 with an MSRP of $18,895.
