Triumph Expands 400 Lineup with Tracker and Thruxton

Unveiled as 2026 models, the all-new flat track–inspired Tracker 400 and the long-rumored Thruxton 400 cafe racer contribute to the continued growth of newer riders by offering style and performance in an accessible package.
The 398cc single-cylinder engine gets a five-percent bump in peak power thanks to revised internals, a new camshaft profile, and updated tuning. With 80 percent of its torque available at just 3,000 rpm, both bikes enjoy the robust but approachable performance that has resulted in the popularity of the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X.
Tracker 400: Flat Track Bred, Street-Ready
The Tracker 400 marks the first time that Triumph has offered flat track–inspired styling in its Modern Classics lineup. Designed to channel the energy of oval dirt racing, the Tracker pairs bold visuals with purposeful ergonomics, like the wide, flat handlebars that put the rider in an upright, elbows-out stance.
The dedicated chassis gets premium suspension, with black anodized 43mm upside-down forks boasting 140mm of travel up front, while a gas monoshock provides preload adjustment and 130mm of travel at the rear.
Distinctive styling elements include a fuel tank with sculpted knee cutouts, fly screen, number board, color-matched seat cowl, and twin upswept silencers. The Pirelli MT60 RS tires offer flat track styling with road-focused grip. Rider aids include switchable traction control, ABS, and a torque-assist clutch.
Buyers can choose from Racing Yellow, Phantom Black, and Aluminium Silver Gloss, each with their own bold, race-inspired graphics.
Thruxton 400: Iconic Café Racer, Only Smaller
With deep roots in racing history, this new Thruxton 400 brings that storied pedigree into a smaller, lighter and more accessible package. Familiar styling cues include the sculpted fuel tank adorned with the polished Monza-style fuel cap, a compact fairing, bar-end mirrors, and a color-matched bullet seat cowl.
The Thruxton gets narrower handlebars than the Tracker, featuring traditional clip-ons that are complemented by the rear-set footpegs for a more aggressive riding position. Handling, suspension, and the Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tires match the sporting styling and ergonomics.
Color options include Carnival Red, Pearl Metallic White with Storm Grey, and Metallic Racing Yellow.
Both the Tracker 400 and Thruxton 400 are slated to arrive in UK dealerships for spring 2026, but U.S. pricing and availability have yet to be announced.
