Zero Motorcycles Announces New Electric Models with Lower Prices
Zero Motorcycles, an American electric motorcycle manufacturer, recently announced a new initiative to make electric bikes more accessible. Zero Motorcycles’ All Access Initiative
Over the next two years, Zero Motorcycles is planning to produce six new electric motorcycle models that cost less than $10,000 each. The goal of this initiative is to increase access to riders across the world.
Phase one of this strategy is to roll out the X Line, which features the XE and XB models. These lightweight, versatile bikes deliver an intuitive riding experience with the agility that the brand is known for. Both the XE and XB are equipped with factory-tuned suspension and switchable traction control to deliver smooth power.
“The new X Line delivers the best performing models in one of the most exciting growth categories from the most trusted electric brand in powersports,” CEO Sam Paschel said.
The XE is ideal for off-road riding to rip through mud, dirt, and gravel seamlessly with explosive torque. Similarly, the XB was designed for off-road fun in a simple, compact frame. The North American XE model will be priced competitively at $6,495, while the XB comes at a price tag of $4,195.
A potential third bike, out of the six, is the Neutrino. This bold electric concept will utilize Zero’s award-winning powertrain and performance, along with the brand’s best-in-class design and engineering to refine the future bike model. Zero Motorcycles is open to ideas from the motorcycle community on how to shape the Neutrino.
