Biketoberfest to Cap Off 2024 AMA Gypsy Tour

The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) has announced a partnership with Biketoberfest – one of the most popular motorcycle rallies in the southeast – adding the event to the annual AMA Gypsy Tour. The 32nd Biketoberfest is running October 17–20, 2024, in Daytona Beach, Florida. Cycle Trader has everything you need to know about this partnership and the rally itself.

AMA Partners With Biketoberfest for 2024 Event

AMA’s nationwide Gypsy Tour is an annual tradition dating back to 1925. Featuring some of the best motorcycle gatherings and experiences across the country, these gatherings bring together hundreds of thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts to share in the camaraderie of two-wheel riding.

The 2024 Gypsy Tour started in March at the 83rd Annual Bike Week at Daytona, followed by Americade in Vermont, Laconia Motorcycle Week in New Hampshire, Buckeye Motorcycle and Music Rally in Ohio, AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days (also in Ohio), Four Corners Motorcycle Rally in Colorado – and now Biketoberfest, circling back to Daytona Beach in Florida.

“Biketoberfest is a fall staple for motorcyclists, giving riders the opportunity to enjoy Florida’s longer riding season along with the many vendors, motorcycle shows, and custom bike builds that are a part of this city-wide road rally,” said AMA Director of Marketing and Communications Joy Burgess. “We’re pleased to add Biketoberfest to our AMA Gypsy Tour schedule and look forward to fostering a long-term partnership with the event.”

The National Gypsy Tour is one of the AMA’s oldest and proudest traditions. Attendees are invited to claim their own collectable AMA Gypsy Tour pin, which is dated with the year, at each tour stop. This pin will be distributed at the Official Biketoberfest Welcome Center, located at Daytona International Speedway’s Fall Cycle Scene display area.

Biketoberfest: Warm Weather, Warm Waters, Warm Welcome

Biketoberfest is a fan-favorite fall rally. Biketoberfest celebrates motorcycle culture’s full-throttle lifestyle, bringing riders together for this four-day rally. Enjoy the beautiful Florida weather as attendees take spectacular rides along Daytona Beach’s historic Main Street or Scenic Loop.

“Biketoberfest attracts motorcycle enthusiasts from around the world to enjoy the Florida sunshine, gentle ocean breezes, scenic rides, fun-filled activities and live music and to share their passion and love for motorcycles,” said Lori Campbell Baker, executive director for the Daytona Beach Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, the promoter of Biketoberfest. “We’re thrilled to have Biketoberfest included on the AMA Gypsy Tour schedule and bring more awareness to all the activities surrounding this popular rally.”

One of Biketoberfest event highlights is the Fall Cycle Scene at Daytona International Speedway. This event features the area’s largest motorcycle marketplace with live entertainment, free demo rides, vendor displays, and more. Admission options are available for each day of the four-day festival, as well as a weekend ticket for access Thursday through Sunday.
