Silver Anniversary of Rocket Jump
Triumph Motorcycles took part in celebrating the 50th anniversary of Evel Knievel’s iconic Rocket Jump at Twin Falls, Idaho, on Sunday, September 1st. The event kicked off with a motorcycle parade and included a live performance by Krysten Knievel, daughter of Kaptain Robbie Knievel, along with The Knievel Daredevil band.
Leading the parade, Kelly Knievel, Evel’s son, rode a custom-painted Bonneville T120, joined by stunt rider Robbie “Maddo” Maddison on a custom Rocket 3, paying homage to the original Skycycle X-2 Rocket used in the legendary jump. Six-time X Games gold medalist Colby Raha also participated, riding a Triumph Speed 400.
Red Bull Day in the Dirt Out East Scheduled for October
Red Bull Day in the Dirt Out East is scheduled for October 11–13, 2024, at High Point Raceway in Mount Morris, Pennsylvania. Online registration is open until October 7. The three-day event will feature a variety of races and events, including:

- Vintage Grand Prix
- 2-Stroke and Still Smokin’ Race

Shimoda to Compete in All Japan Motocross Championship
Honda Racing Corporation announced that Team Honda HRC rider Jo Shimoda will take part in the seventh round of the D.I.D. All Japan Motocross Championship, to be held at Off Road Village in Kawagoe, Saitama Prefecture, Japan.
The event is scheduled for September 28 and 29, 2024, one week after the completion of the SuperMotocross series. Shimoda, who finished fourth in the 2024 AMA Supercross 250SX West series and turned in three overall podium results in the AMA Pro Motocross 250 series before his collarbone injury, will compete in Japan aboard the new 2025 CRF450R. Without complications, Shimoda’s collarbone should not be an issue at that point.
The Japanese native has past experience in the JMX Championship, having competed in the Meihan round with another manufacturer in 2022, when he posted 1-1 moto finishes in the 450 class.

This event offers a fantastic day of golf while supporting the Injured Riders Endowment Fund. The tournament aims to raise essential funds to provide comprehensive support services, ensuring that injured athletes receive the care they need in all areas of their lives.
