What’s the Furthest Distance You’ve Driven on a Motorcycle?
Riders could say that a long journey on the open road is one of the greatest draws to the motorcycle lifestyle. As a bike owner, you should consider it a milestone whenever you cover new ground, take in amazing sights along the way, master the road and your driving skills, and add to that number on your odometer. Cycle Trader asked our followers on the Cycle Trader Facebook, “what’s the longest distance you’ve covered on your motorcycle?” With miles of road traveled on fantastic bikes across the country, here are some of your answers.

“Pennsylvania to Florida, to California, to Washington, and back to Pennsylvania. Over 10,000 miles, 34 states, 13 weeks, solo. [Riding a] Kawasaki ZX 14.”

“10,000 [miles] from leaving our driveway in Livonia, Michigan to pulling back into our same driveway. Rode out to Sturgis, South Dakota, then on to Washington to visit family, down to northern California to visit, down to L.A. to visit more family. Came back across the southern part of the U.S. through Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, headed north to visit more family in Tennessee, then on home to Michigan.”

With hundreds of responses, a large number of riders indicated that the most mileage they’ve covered on their bike on a single adventure fell between 1,000–3,000 miles. And impressively, there were a few bikers that took rides that reached over 10,000 miles on their journey.
