The wait is over… well, kind of. Triumph has just revealed a release date of January 2020 for its all-new Rocket 3 R and Rocket 3 GT lineup. The new Rocket 3 R now includes the world’s largest production motorcycle engine at 2,500cc and boasts the highest torque of any motorcycle with 163 LB-FT @ 4,000 rpm. The Rocket 3 GT is more than 88 pounds lighter than its predecessor and includes premium finish and detailing. Specific pricing will be released this coming November. We’ll keep you posted. If you were at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally earlier this week, you might have smelled something good coming from Indian’s booth. The manufacturer demoed the functions of a new Traeger Grills x See See Motor Coffee Co. Springfield Dark Horse. They served tasty BBQ cooked on a Traeger Grill that’s actually located inside of the bike’s sidecar – yeah you read that right. The set up was built by Thor Drake of See See Motorcycles and the full video of this project’s planning and build will be posted online – we’ll be sure to share. Anyone else hungry? Harley recently announced two new 2020 paint sets that will allow riders to customize their bikes and show off their personalities. These new sets were designed by Harley-Davidson stylists and hand-painted by skilled artists. The first set called The Mayhem Series is designed for Road King, Street Glide and Road Glide baggers, while The Quick Shift set fits 2018-later Breakout and Fat Bob models. Both sets are considered a limited release so be sure to get your hands on these sets while you can. Check out the new paint sets here.
If you haven’t heard us talk about Harley’s LiveWire, you might be living under a rock. But to quickly catch you up, LiveWire is Harley-Davidson’s new electric motorcycle. The manufacturer recently announced that more than 250 Harley-Davidson dealers globally are offering the LiveWire motorcycle, 150 of those being in the U.S. Harley has the goal of placing them in ALL interested dealerships by 2022. The electric market is taking the world by storm, and Harley-Davidson dealers that are preparing to offer the LiveWire motorcycle are required to have a specially trained Harley-Davidson Master Motorcycle Technician on staff to provide top-notch service for this new line of bikes.
