We have all heard the hype about taking a Pacific Coast cruise, and we are here to tell you the hype is real. The terrain is unlike anything you’ve seen before with miles of coastline, tons of curves, and unreal views along the entire highway. No matter where you start or end your ride you’ll be in for a treat. If you ride the the length of Pacific Coast highway, you’ll see lighthouses, redwoods, mountains, lush valleys, and a variety of wildlife. The highway is a whopping 655 miles long, so whether you choose to ride for just a portion of the highway, or the entire length, there will be an ideal option for you.
Blue Mountain Scenic Byway, Oregon
Oregon is full of scenic motorcycle roads and the Blue Mountain Scenic Byway is one of the best. This 145 mile stretch of road travels through ranching communities, forests, and mountains – all which make for a beautiful ride. The byway is a paved, two-lane road crossing the Morrow and Umatilla counties in northeast Oregon. During the ride, you’ll also pass through the Umatilla National Forest, which offers a variety of scenery, historical sites, and ample wildlife. It’s important to note that the byway is not accessible year-round due to snowfall at the higher elevations. As for road quality, there are tons of twists and turns – get ready for a fun ride.
