The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel features a story on Denis Manning, who holds the motorcycle land-speed record of over 350mph.
Manning had broken the world speed record before in 1970, but lost it four years later. Now over 30 years later he has reclaimed the title.
Breaking the world record for motorcycle speed takes more than a bike you would find at your local cycle dealership. The bike used is a streamliner motorcycle, which is enclosed in a protective shell to make it aerodynamic.
When not breaking records, Manning is the CEO and founder BUB Enterprises, which manufactures exhaust pipes for motorcycles.
