<p>I built this bike in the early 1970's. I started with a new engine and decided to take the best parts from Hodaka (frame) and a Leading Link front end, gas tank and seat from a Steen/Alsport. The telescopic front end on the Hodaka at the time had much to be desired so I found a Steen Leading Link which out performances the Hodaka front ends of the day. The Steen/Alsport frames outside of the Rickman were weak compared to the Box Hodaka frame. I freshened up the bike for my daughter when she was twelve. She lost interest in riding only after a year or two. I'm sorry to say it's time to find a new caring owner/family.
