Used 2004 Harley-Davidson Cruiser
SPORTSTER 1200 CUSTOM XL1200C

Lacey/Olympia Washington - Bike lists for $7,400, so $5,800 is a great deal. DO NOT ASK for an INSPECTION REPORT--ain't going to happen. Bike had 15k service at Northwest Harley-Davidson, so you can check there, if you want. 4.5-gallon tank. 47+ mpg. It is not as small as a regular Sportster with the 3-gallon peanut tank, but at the same time, it is not a big, heavy cruiser or tour bike. What's nice about this bike, is that if you are a new rider or a returning rider (haven't ridden in a while), this bike is for you. It weighs about 440 pounds or the same as something like a Honda Rebel 1100. Low center of gravity and is just plain fun to ride. In turns and corners, it is very nimble and fun, which means you can do a tight u-turn in the street with no trouble at all. This bike is a head-turner. Get your chrome polish ready as you cruise by, people give you a big smile and a thumbs up, nodding enthusiastically. This bike has never been laid down. Engine very sound. 16,031 miles (15,531 on old speedometer/520 on new speedometer. The engine is perfect and designed to go 100,000-plus without a problem. 15,000 mile service at the NW Harley dealership in Lacey and added new tires. Unlike other Sportsters, the Mustang solo seat is thicker and made for a long weekend ride. Has 12.5 inch shocks on a low setting for an even smoother ride (stock shocks were 11.5 inches). Wyatt Gatling mufflers (loud-pipes-save-lives), so you get the full, typical, Harley-Davidson rumble, but will not tick off your neighbors when you take it out of the garage in the morning and start it up (on your way to work). Saddlebags are spacious, so you can keep things like your rain gear with you on every ride. For safety, added LED lights/blinkers which make you stand out, especially in town and around intersections. Although the bike is set up as a solo ride, I will give you the original full seat, back foot pegs and back rest, if you want to carry a passenger. One other owner -- a teacher up in University Place. Bike has always been garaged. Plan to take your new bike to the car/bike shows and show it off. Got lots of thumbs up at the Christmas Toy Run and Auburn Veterans Day Run. Oh yeah, you might ask, Why are you selling this amazing bike? I have a new 2024 Harley-Davidson Road Glide, and my garage has room for only one bike.
