Only 11,568 miles. This bike looks brand new and it doesn't have a scratch. I am the original owner. It was purchased at the BMW dealer in Charlotte, NC and we moved to the DFW area 4 years later. Adult ridden (I'm 49), it's never been on the ground/crashed, all maintenance has been performed at either Charlotte BMW or Fort Worth BMW, and I have all of the receipts and records to back that up. Three years ago I took it in for a valve cover leak, which was caused by the timing chain guide that BMW installed several years ealier as part of a service bulletin. BMW ended up replacing the entire timing chain set for free at 11,300 miles(!). While they were in there, I had them replace the spark plugs and complete the rest of the 18,000-mile service. All work associated with service bulletins and recalls has been completed including a faulty fuel strip, which occured just 2 months ago. I had the oil changed at that time, so this bike is 100% ready to ride without any maintenance needs for a long time. Everything on the bike is in perfect working order. This bike has all of the OEM options including ESA, ABS, heated grips, and saddle bags ($1,400 with mounting kit in 2006). It also came with the titanium, LASER exhaust muffler sold by BMW, which not only adds more power but also sounds great. It is equipped with HeliBars bar risers that raise the handlebars 1 1/4" and bring them rearward by 1/2" making for an even more comfortble ride and a keyed helmet lock on the left hand side of the frame. The bags and the helmet lock are keyed to the ignition key.The bike was originally equipped with the BMW Nav III system but I later upgraded to Garmin Zumo 665 system ($800 today). The GPS mount is wired to the bike's CAN bus system, so it turns off by itself and does not drain the battery when parked. The 665, the bike mount, and all of the accessories that came with it (including the box) are available for sale with the bike for an additional but discounted fee. Additionally, the bike is wired for an Adaptive Technologies TPX radar detector including the LED alert lights that you can see mounted above the instrument cluster. The TPX unit and its mount currently sell for $400. These are also available for sale for an additional but discounted fee. The asking price includes the saddle bags. Please let me know if you have any questions.
