BMW R60/2 with Velorex sidecar. This machine is in good running condition, the sidecar is set up correctly so she handles like she should. Features include, Earles type leading link fork (ideal for sidecar use), large capacity fuel tank, dual solo seats, Metzler Block K sidecar tires, Full fairing (we are not sure about the brand, very similar to Avon Avonair fairing. Stainless steel mufflers, chrome luggage rack. A little over 19,000 indicated miles. This is the last year and the best year for the R60/2. This combination has been together many years, we sold it about ten years ago to a local customer, now we have it back. We cleaned the fuel system, changed the fluids, adjusted the valves, set the timing, installed a new battery and now she's running and riding like a good ole BMW. She's ready for a new home. For more information 770-447-6945 for Lisa x24 or John x20

1969 BMW R60/2 with Steib S501 sidecar. This is a true Barnfind, it was sitting in a California shed for 20 years. We put fresh gas in it and it started on the 3rd kick. Only a BMW could do this. The motorcycle is an original paint, unrestored, BMW R60/2. The frame and engine numbers are matching. The engine runs fine, we changed the oil and did a few laps around the block, clutch, shifting, charging, lights and brakes all functioning properly. We have not given the bike a through mechanical shakedown, we only tested it's running and riding ability. We are selling this a project bike, not intended for road use untill further maintenence is performed. The sidecar is the original German Steib S501 that was offered for BMW motorcycles 50 years ago. The sidecar appears to be original paint and it still wears it's original data plate. The sidecar is solid with no rust and no evident repairs. The interior upholstry also appears to be original, as does the windshield. With a little work this rig could be enjoyed, as is, with patina. According to it's original owner the 29,000 miles is correct. This would also make an excellent restoration project that would surly be worth every dollar spent on it. We can arrange shipping world wide.  Call John for details770 447 6945 ext 20
