Rare and Beautiful!  Feast your eyes on this hard-to-find and very desirable Do-It-All Beemer from years past. The R100GS is a true classic, but good used ones are so rare because most owners have ridden them into the ground — that’s how they’re designed to be used. So finding clean, low-mileage ones that have been clearly well cared for by its few previous owners, not to mention upgraded and fully serviced, gets harder every day. While this one did not arrive nearly as perfect as it is now, it came to us in very nice, mostly original condition, ready for the expertise the service team at Bob’s BMW offers to turn it into the beauty you see now on your screen. Starting with a thorough inspection, review, visual and mechanical detailed evaluation, a good test ride and more involving two of the most knowledgeable members of our team we created a medium list of service requirements to bring it up to our very high standards. The goal: the next owner should be getting a desirable classic BMW that is as turnkey as can be purchased as well as one that would visually turn heads even more than it did upon arrival. And we’ve watched this category of machines not only go up in value but get harder and harder to find – even in rough condition. So here’s what we did to get it to those high standards that the next proud owner can not only get current value out of but additional value farther down the road from. And prior to arrival it had seen a complete service on all fluids and filters. It now has brand new Metzeler Tourance tires filled with Nitrogen, it has had a full carburetor rebuild including not only the standard gaskets and o-rings but butterfly shaft screws, vacuum screws, float pivot pins, carb top screws, slide needles & clips, fresh carb-to-head rubbers and more. We’ve also re-torqued the heads, adjusted the valves, replaced valve cover gaskets, synced the carbs to a perfect idle and throttle action and even installed a fresh timing plug rubber.

1993 BMW R100GS PD, Vintage 1993 BMW R100GS PD. The motorcycle is in good running condition and a sold 7-7.5 out of 10 cosmetically. The bike starts easy, idles and runs well. It has been in to Valentine on 1/22/16 for run ability issues where they cleaned float bowls, performed a 6K service, new fork seals, flushed brakes, replaced handle bars and fixed various electrical connections to get everything working properly. Again on 6/29/16 to clean out the carbs (pilot jets, float bowls and new in line filters) and lubed center stand. 5/5/18 again cleaned and adjusted carbs, check rear shock and found a front cover leak and neutral switch leak. These have not been repaired and there is a slight weep on the final drive. The bike is sold As Is Where Is and nothing more will be done unless the purchaser wants something fixed at their expense. Included with the bike is a solo seat with new cover that needs to be installed and a used replacement left head. The left head has one broken fin and the owner has included a replacement piece. The bike will come with a set of new tires installed either Continental TXC80’s or TKC70’s. The current tires are 18 years old. This is a really nice example of the bike in good running order with a few things needed (not uncommon for a bike of this vintage). If you are looking for a good example of this bike and want a rider. This is the bike, don’t let it get away. We can work with you to get the bike shipped at an additional cost. *Price does not include Tax, License Fees, Handling or $150 negotiable Doc Fee.

I am the 3rd owner, however I have yet to register the bike,so the previous owner had the bike for 10 yrs,in which time he brought it to me for service and a complete restoration 3 yrs ago,I have worked as a motorcycle tech for over 30yrs and have had my own shop for over 20(Belmont Motorcycle)if you care to check out my shop, anyway the bike has 45k,I performed the resto @ 40k,which it didn't need however the customer wanted to make it better and look nicer,so we did, bike was totally disassembled minus the motor, trans, and rear diff,we powdercoated every black part on the bike and a few extra's,fresh steering bearings etc.I should state that prior to the resto I rebuilt the forks which had started to weep at which time I put in RaceTech emulators, springs and Ohlins oil, which the forks are the only part left on the bike that I'd like to powdercoat,I installed a deep sump oilpan, new rear main, oil pump o-ring and all rubbers parts were replaced,I put an Ohlins rear shock on after I had the spring painted black,I put a new Valeo starter in and diode board with solid mounts,Browns sidestand that I had to adapt to make work,Seibenbrock German exhaust,BMW heated grips, all bodywork was painted, most hardware was replaced with polished stainless, customer decided he wanted a different bike(R50/2) which I am working on know for him,so knowing the bike I purchased it and thought that one day I would do some traveling on it ,which I will if it doesn't sell, however I realize that may be 5yrs down the road as I have bought a new Ducati Xdiavel,so prior to putting the bike up for the winter I lubed the splines, replaced the the neutral switch as it was strting to weep, did a complete carb overhaul, including, floats, needles, diaphragms, etc, new front tire, valves adjusted, fresh synthetic oils, the bike is ready to hit the 4 corners, the resto cost 10k with all the great parts we installed, bike will come with some spare parts and a nicely done OEM seat with a gel insert, you won't find a nicer one out there than this one.

This is a super-nice RS and a 40 mm header, non-CFO machine with only 25,419 miles. We first serviced this bike in May 2015 and went through it extensively by completing leak down, compression, airhead service with all fluids, new tires, fuel lines, new center stand, new fork gaiters and overhauled the carburetors, Since purchasing from us in 2015 the previous owner had us service it annually and along the way replaced the clutch cable, brake cable, install a factory deep oil pan, fork emulators, Ohlins rear shocks and an Enduralast charging and Enduraspark ignition system. The paint work appears to be original and has very minimal wear. The wheels are clean and the striping has survived nicely. This RS appears to have spent its days off from riding inside and away from UV as the switches, plastics and paint look very healthy. If you are looking for a R100RS this one may be one of the finest available. Call Cody (112) or John (x125) at 603-964-2877 with questions or to purchase this machine.
