This bike started it's life as a R100RT.  It had around 80,000 miles on it when I started the build.  The motor was tore down, tolerances checked and re-assembled with new seals and gaskets with everything set to tolerance.  These motors are extreamly bullet proof and main componets of the engine reflected this when inspected.  The frame was slightly modified to set the stance.  The wheels, frame, and all chassis componets have been powder coated for a durable finish.  The seat and tank pads were custom upholstered to give a vintage feel paired with the shinko dual sport tires.  Powering the electrical system is a Motogadget M-unit Blue.  On the Renthal ultra low handle bars sit (two on the left and two on the right) momentary push buttons with all wiring hidden inside the bars.  These four buttons control all the funtions of the normally bulky switch gear found on the stock setup.  A Motogadget tiny speedometer is set in the headlight bucket.  To round things out Motogadget M-blaze Disc sit at the end of the bars for turn signals.  The bike is a blast to ride.  Even with the blocky tires it feels very smooth and planted in corners.  On the bikes first outing it took home BEST CAFE RACER at the Rocker Box vintage motofest at Road America.  Im sure I am missing a few things but if you are seriously interested feel free to ask questions.  Listed below are some of the major componets on the bike.-Full Motogadget Electronics-Upgraded High voltage charging system-Hyper flash supernova L.E.D. tailights-L.E.D. Well cared for enduro-style collectors bike. Good local commuter bike or for highway with BMW hard bags; fun on the asphalt or even rock roads. Excellent condition, single owner, 16k original miles. Used for occasional weekend rides into the mountains. Carefree maintenance, all I’ve had to do is get state inspections, change the fluids and tires according to use (I used aggressive tread for mountain/rock road riding and now have highway tires mounted for street use).  Garaged at all times since the day I took it from the dealer in Colorado Springs. Canyon red with black frame and GS logo. Rides best with one up but can accommodate two up on the straight seat.Reason for sale: my wife has taken an interest in riding and I’ve added a touring bike to our garage.

1988 BMW R100RS, Hard to think of late `80`s stuff as being classic bikes, but this `88 Beemer turns 30 years old this year, and that makes all of us guys here feel pretty old, haha. Everything works on this one, it`s in great cosmetic shape and fires right up and runs like a top. It has a Corbin seat and a pair of hard sidecases (not pictured) and was recently serviced at BMW of Denver. If these follow the path of the 70`s BMW`s this one is likely to go up in value in the next decade, so add this tricenarian to your stable now for only $4,295.00! YES WE FINANCE! Rare opportunity to own a piece of BMW history. Near mint (its 34 years old) example of a Last Edition BMW R100CS. Comes with certificate stating it’s 1 of 150 examples sold in 1984. Also comes with single Corbin, double Corbin, both stock seats, extra rear seat pan, two hard bags, original tool kit and original owners manual. Manual matches certificate and shows date of purchase by original owner Tom Huff. Bike starts up and runs perfect. One of the nicest examples of an old airhead I’ve ever ridden, and I’ve ridden a lot. Bike was just gone over by a BMW mechanic within the last 4 months. Everything works as it should to include the clock (they break often). One small scuff on back rear seat pan...see pictures. Came that way to me so I assume it was dropped when changing seats. Bike shows no other damage from being dropped. Please ask any questions you may have. I’ll take any pictures or answer any questions you may have. Bike is currently in a temperature controlled show room in Harrisburg PA, but can be brought from Harrisburg to NOVA for pick up. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Bike is bought “As Is”. $500 deposit due within 24hours of auction ending and is non-refundable. Balance needs to be cashiers check or cash. All checks must clear bank before the bike is released to buyer. Title clear and in hand. I’ve been a motorcycle enthusiast for over 20 years. I’ve bought and sold many bikes and I’m sad to see this one go.

1974 BMW R100S?  BMW did not make a R100S in 1974.  This is a combination of bikes, read on:-  frame is a 1974 R90, stripped & painted-  bodywork painted, with /7 seat cowl & Corbin seat, R100CS fairing-  motor is from a 1981 R100S with lightened flywheel, dual plugged heads, Mikuni carbs, electronic ignition, was rebuilt about 10k miles ago.  Deep oil pan with cooler & temp gauge -  San Jose upper clamp, fork brace, and swing arm-  dual ATE 40mm rebuilt calipers w/new pistons, hard lines, & braided brake lines, rebuilt under tank master cylinder-  new tapered steering bearings, wheel & swing arm bearings flushed & repacked, new seals-  1976 switch gear & perches-  80's era Speedo & tach, to accommodate electronic tach, -  adapted wiring to match components, wiring change notes includedBike is well put together and runs strong. While the exhaust system is solid, there are stains on the mufflers.  Wheels also have the patina that comes with 44 years of age (front wheel looks stock, rear wheel is a high lip mode).  Likewise the seat has two small nicks.  Clutch lever perch missing mirror mount web.  Some new nicks in the paint on the rear fender & seat cowl, where the seat flips up.  Seat lock & fork lock do not function.  No tool kit.I have put about 800 miles on the bike since completing it this past April.
