Originally created as a concept motorbike in 1998 the Mike Hailwood 900 Evoluzione (hence the name) drew great responses such that Ducati put it into production in 2000 and 2001. It was Pierre Terblanche's homage to the NCR race bikes that Hailwood raced so successfully at events like the TT.
