<p>This listing is for a rare, vintage 1999 M900 Cromo with 5K original miles. I am the 2nd owner. This bike is unique, as it is the final year of carb'd M900s produced and one of roughly 100 Cromos made that year. It sounds mean as hell, especially for a 900cc. The Cromos had chrome tanks and extensive carbon fiber detailing, which you will see in the photos. The bike is super fun to ride and people love the chrome. Never dropped, always garage-kept.Notes on the bike: it starts and runs. It is carbureted, which requires a little more upkeep than your typical fuel-injected Duc. You should be comfortable with that aspect of maintenance (or have a shop who will work on it), or else you will be annoyed. It is a 25 year-old bike, but with a few upgrades I think it will look and sound great for years. You will notice in the photos that some of the OEM carbon fiber parts are faded--you can get milled replacements that look awesome, I just never got around to it. The digital RPM gauge has never worked. Previous owner did a tail chop and there is minor rusting behind the plate. I think the carbs should be rejetted, has been a few years. Tires are 4-5 years old but very few miles on them.
