2003 BMW F650CS "Street Carver" or "Scarver." These bikes were based on the Paris-Dakar model, but the design of this one was aimed at a more urban market. The title says, "Dual-Sport," but I'd hesitate to take this one off-road. Honestly, the first time I saw one of these back in 2005, I was in love. It took me until 2017 before life allowed me to buy, it but after 25 years off a two-wheeler, this was my transition back to motorcycling. It is a belt-drive so no chain to adjust, and the previous owners had the belt replaced before they sold it.I'm moving overseas, and it's going to cost more than to ship it and get compliance inspections, so I'm going to use the money to buy another f650CS or GS; I'm sold on this model. This is no crotch-rocket, but it has guts. I've cruised at 75 and it is smooth running. Took it on a ride between Fresno and Mariposa and back on the roads less-traveled, and it was fun. Easy enough to ride in the city and just heavy enough to run the highways. If you research these engines, they run great for a long time. Don't trust me; look it up. This one has less than 13,500 miles. I bought it with around 12,500 on it a year ago and it also served as the learning bike for my son who never rode before. If you're just starting out, or getting back into the saddle, this is the bike for you. You could spend twice what you'll pay for this one, but WHY? I got it with the intention of upgrading, and I did. Then, I let my son use it to learn. It's not perfect. It went down at some point, but not during my time, and the previous owners denied putting it down. There are a few scratches that I have documented in the pix, but I took off the worst parts, sanded and painted them. There are a couple of more areas that I need to touch up, but I will give the paint to the next owner. From 50 feet away, you cannot see anything is awry. These were unique due to the tank being under the seat, and a cargo space where it would normally be. Mine had the locking "spider" harness, but I most often use a tank bag in that space. I did keep the harness, though. I am including the BMW sound box that was an option for these bikes (around $300 IF you can find one) BUT, the wiring harness is not installed. You can use it as a locking case as well, and the key is the same one for the bike! One other great thing about this bike is the 12V socket. I have the adapter to use it with a lighter-type plus so you can charge your devices or keep your GPS running. I installed a deflector screen on top of the short windscreen to help with the buffeting at hugher speeds, but there are taller, aftermarket windshields out there as well.I hope the next owner loves it as much as we have! This can be a starter (or re-starter) motorcycle, and can easily be a daily driver or touring bike.Contact me with any questions!

This bike has low miles, about 31,000, is in good condition and ready to ride. It has no problems and I have always taken it to a dealership for maintenance. It comes with a hard luggage carrier, that can hold a helmet, jacket and more at the same time, and comes with the bike cover. Also, the seat is custom, and I have the original seat as well.
