1973 Honda CB500F Stored inside I’ve had this bike for several years. The 500 is a nice size and it’s just a smaller version of the 750, same engine design. I bought it not running and I haven’t put many miles on it, I was after a project bike to work on. Each year I added or replaced parts, new tires, new chain, spark plugs, oil and filter change, new battery, front brake master cylinder rebuild, front fork seals with new boots. This winter I had an old school Honda motorcycle mechanic pull the cylinder head and inspect the cylinder walls, valves and rings. All good! New gaskets of course! Added SS allen head bolts on the top end while at it. He also rebuilt and synched the carbs with new fuel lines. The bike is running great, ready to roll ! If I had to do it over I would have gone w an original paint scheme but at the time I went with the blue repaint. I’m ready to move on to another project bike so this one is available! I’ve got more money into it than I’m asking but it’s a fun hobby and I’d like to see someone keep going with the bike. The exhaust pipes are solid w good chrome, no holes. One pipe has a small dent. The side covers have a nick but they are not visible. Let me know if you have questions. I have the title.
