1966 Honda CL160 ScramblerThe CL160 was made for 1 year before being replaced with the D model. Only produced in Silver with Black frame. The 161cc parallel twin 4-stroke Single Overhead Cam motor had 16.5 horsepower. The bike has a 4-speed transmission and weighs 260 pounds. It will go 85mph as per original documentation and gets about 35mpg. The bike has 18-inch rims front and back. The bike has twin carbs but no electric starter, only kick start. Bike starts on first or second kick. Honda provided a skid pan and upswept pipes. This motorcycle has been completely restored. It has been completely disassembled from top to bottom. All items that were worn were replaced when possible with Honda original parts. Many parts are still available through Honda for this bike. The bike was repainted in Honda Scrambler Silver. The frame was powder-coated in Black. New rims and spokes were laced to original hubs. All bearings were replaced. All cables were replaced with Honda Grey/Silver cables. New rear Honda shocks were installed. Front forks were completely rebuilt with new seals and O-Rings. Steering head ball bearings were replaced. The Handlebars were replaced with correct Honda Scrambler bars and the switches were rebuilt. Wiring harness was completely rebuilt. New dual sport tires were installed with tubes. Headlight ring was replaced and instrument seal was replaced. Correct Honda mirrors were installed. Carbs were completely rebuilt. The seat was professionally recovered and rebuilt. All springs and metal parts were re-Zinc Coated. All original Honda bolts, nuts, washers were re-Zinc Coated when possible. Otherwise replaced with original Honda items when possible. A new battery was installed. Some re-chrome work was done on brake hardware to keep it all original parts. Tank rubber side covers were replaced as well as the fuel cap. Motor was bored 1mm over, new pistons and rings, wrist pins and clips were installed. Valve seats were re-cut as well as the valves. New EK high tension cam chain was installed. All Honda gaskets and seals were used in the motor rebuild. Clutch plates were replaced. A new drive chain was installed. The bike is a full restoration and is in excellent shape. It has 2456 miles on the speedometer. I am asking $4000 for this motorcycle. I have spent the past 6 months restoring it and hate to let it go. It is too beautiful to ride. I would like to put in a museum. This is a rare bike made only one year. The 1967 and on were different and are not worth as much as this bike is. Hagerty values it at around $5000. One sold at Mecum Vegas auction in same condition for $4500. I will deliver to the Bay area or LA area or anywhere in a 200-mile radius for cost of fuel. Cash or direct wire transfer only. I will accept Zelle transfer. No PayPal except for deposit. No exceptions to these sale conditions. NO CHECKS period!CL CB scrambler vintage

1971 Honda CL350, You just don't see them like this any more!!!  An Original Survivor!!  A ONE OWNER BIKE!!! The CB350/CL350 was the highest selling Motorcycle in American history, shifting more than 400,000 units in its six year run. Add the SL350 variants and the figure goes to 626,000! Try to find one now, espelly in this condition!!! So here is the deal with the different colors. The bike was originally blue, some time in the mid to late 80s the original tank developed some small rust holes, so the original owner bought a new tank from Honda to replace it, and the orange color was the only one that was available at that time.  Look at the inside, it is in awesome condition!!!     It's not perfect, but WOW, it is original!! The original Honda seat cover is in great condition, I have taken pictures of this.    The CB350 has a twin cylinder, over-head cam, air cooled engine. It has two carbs, a five speed gearbox and an electric starter (except for the later SL's). It proved to be very reliable, time proven,  even without maintenance. It was truly an 'everyman' motorcycle that appealed to a mass audience. It made 36bhp@10,000rpm, and weighed in at 370lb's.   When was the last time that you have seen a set of # HM318 high pipes in non-rusted out condition??  It still has the center stand too. Check out the pictures of this one, I bet you will like what you see!!!!   This one is in great shape for it's age. It has 9,381 miles, that is only 200 miles a year! Fully serviced and it runs just a good as it looks!!!
