Suzuki Boulevard S40 Information:

The Suzuki Boulevard S40, previously known as the Suzuki LS650 Savage is a lightweight cruiser-style motorcycle made by Suzuki motor corporation for the Japanese Market. It is exported to North America, New Zealand, the number of other countries. Cruisers refer to a style of motorcycles that allow for a riding position with the feet forward in the hands up so the spine is direct or slightly leaning back. Their emphasis is on easy rideability making them a great choice for beginners.
The Suzuki Boulevard S40 was manufactured and marketed as the Savage from 1986 until 2004. The motorcycle was renamed for the 2005 model year as the boulevard S40. The bike has remained unchanged with the exception of minor cosmetic changes and getting an upgrade from a four-speed transmission to a five-speed in 1993.
The Suzuki Boulevard S40 is marketed as an entry-level model to the cruiser line because it weighs only 381 lbs and has a 28-inch seat height with flutter handlebars so it is suitable for shorter Riders. This bike was the first Cruiser style manufactured by Suzuki. It features a 40 CID or 652 CC four-stroke air-cooled single overhead camshaft engine with a balance shaft and 31 horsepower. It's also available with a thumper engine which is a single-cylinder four-stroke making it among the largest displacement single-cylinder motorcycle engines in production as of 2018.
