2014 Honda CB500F for sale. Meticulously cared for with oil and filter changes every 3000 miles using Shell T6 synthetic. One owner with 18200 miles on the odometer. Purchased in December 2014. No accidents or damage. It has slept indoors every night of its life so no rust. Spark plugs replaced and valve clearance check done at 15k miles with no need for adjustment. Next valve check isn't until 32k. Fresh tires, chain, front brake pads, and sprockets at 16k. Modifications from stock:31" wide aluminum bars - approximately 4" wider than stock, lighter/stronger and more upright position for comfort and scanning the roadPazzo brake and clutch levers - adjustable reach for better control, short for two finger actuationRoadsmart 3 tires - superb ground feel, traction, and wear characteristics. Good for at least another 8k milesReflective rim tape - be seen at nightTank pad - no tank scratches from your jacketR&G tail tidy - ditched that fugly and heavy stock unitGSX 600 rear shock which gives correct spring rate and hi/lo compression and rebound adjustmentsRacetech Emulators, stiffer springs, preload adjusters, and Maxima oil installed in forkBarracuda windscreen - wind protection and clean lines to match the bikeThis is an excellent starter bike to learn good fundamentals. It's the same as the cbr500r but with a more upright, comfortable rider position. It's smooth, reliable, predictable, and doesn't get into trouble. It's got way better highway muscle than a 300cc bike but not so much that you'll wrap yourself around a tree at the first throttle twist. As such, insurance costs are low. It tours nicely, doing several hundred mile days easily. I've gotten between 52 and 66 mpg depending on how hard I ride and traffic conditions. I regularly got 180 miles between fill ups and still had over half a gallon of fuel left when the gauge started flashing. It runs on 87 octane so a tank of gas will run about $11 saving you money. It lane splits very stably and slips through traffic with ease. The white color also makes you much more visible to traffic. The shock and fork upgrades allow you tune the ride far more precisely than the stock parts. Front and rear spring rate balance is corrected from stock settings which were too hard in the back and too soft in the front. I have the original shock, bars, and levers if you want them. If you're new to riding or just want a reliable, no drama horse, you can't do better than this. Registration good until December 2019; you get a whole year to play!

This motorcycle has always been garaged and is now in California.  I origionally purchased it in Utah so I was only able to ride it half of the year.  After I moved to California, I had a serious injury that prevented me from riding my motorcycle.  So, the motorcycle has very low miles around 7,800.  I am moving back to Utah and will not be taking the motorcycle with me.  When I looked up the value it said it was $3,700.  I have listed the bike 35% lower than the current value to sell it quickly.  I am leaving California on 1/18/19 so need to sell it very quickly.  The only mechanical problem with the motorcycle is a small oil leak from an oil shop that overtightened the oil drain plug.  The motorcycle has had this leak since I purchased it in 2005. My insurance does not allow for test drives, but I am happy to start it for you.  I have a AAA membership and they will help us move the title to the new buyer.  Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to see the motorcycle.
