It's the same as the cbr500r but with a more upright, comfortable rider position. It's smooth, reliable, predictable, and doesn't get into trouble. It's got way better highway muscle than a 300cc bike but not so much that you'll wrap yourself around a tree at the first throttle twist. As such, insurance costs are low. It tours nicely, doing several hundred mile days easily. I've gotten between 52 and 66 mpg depending on how hard I ride and traffic conditions. I regularly got 180 miles between fill ups and still had over half a gallon of fuel left when the gauge started flashing. It runs on 87 octane so a tank of gas will run about $11 saving you money. It lane splits very stably and slips through traffic with ease. The white color also makes you much more visible to traffic. The shock and fork upgrades allow you tune the ride far more precisely than the stock parts. Front and rear spring rate balance is corrected from stock settings which were too hard in the back and too soft in the front. I have the original shock, bars, and levers if you want them. If you're new to riding or just want a reliable, no drama horse, you can't do better than this. Registration good until December 2019; you get a whole year to play!
