<p>The SCR950 is Yamaha's entry into the modern Scrambler craze, and is nothing short of what it's designed to be: an affordable, fun-to-ride urban commuter and occasional back-road explorer with neo/retro scrambler styling. With a powerplant and chassis largely borrowed from the Bolt C-Spec, this machine is different in that it holds true to its scrambler persona in its styling cues with steel fenders, side number plates, an off-road handlebar and seat, spoked aluminum wheels, a steel subframe, and an upswept exhaust. While the suspension may not have good large bump compliance, the bike loves it's time in the dirt where the mellow power delivery is ideal for fire roads and the bike's simplicity (no electronics or rider aids, just fuel injection and a digital dash display) will help it remain reliable and predictable for years to come. This is a two owner machine that the most recent fella acquired with the intention of fitting a sidecar to it but just never got around to doing it as turns out it is cost prohibitive on this model (custom mounting would have to be created) and so he just parked it and rode his other bikes. It is stock outside of a Two Brothers Racing Comp V performance breather, and the bike is in like new condition with low low miles...this much fun for $5,495.00 is about criminal!</p>
