Ducati Scrambler Information:
The Ducati Scrambler was a single cylinder scrambler motorcycle made by Ducati for the USA market from 1962 until 1974. They were available from 250 cc through 450 cc. These bikes were not street legal and intended for off road use only.
The Scrambler name returned to the market in 2015 as a modern-classic style motorcycle. They are available in multiple configurations: 800, 1100, 1110 Sport, 1100 Special, 803cc Classic, Urban Enduro, Italia Independent, 399cc Sixty2, the Full Throttle, Desert Sled, Icon, Cafe Racer and the Flat Track Pro.
Some configurations have ceased production to make way for newer options. The retro design features some motocross elements, but it is intended for Street use only rather than off-road riding.
Today's Ducati Scrambler bikes start at Ducati's Borgo Panigale, Italy factory where the engines and frames are made. Everything is shipped to Thailand for assembly. If you opt to purchase new from a dealer, you'll pay around $12,000 for the bike. If that's out of your budget, you can find a quality used option from many dealers or private owners. Whether you're looking for new or used, you cannot go wrong with the classic Ducati Scrambler.
