2007 Triumph Rocket III, ROCKET III WITH LOW MILES AND JARDINE EXHAUST NOW $ 9,999 - The Rocket III is in a class all on its own; the largest capacity production motorcycle in the world with dazzling looks, fantastic performance and amazing specification. The fuel injected, twelve-valve powerplant has a cubic capacity of 2,294 cc thats 140 cubic inches and makes 147 ft. lbs. of torque at 2,500 rpm. This awesome output means even two-up the Rocket III accelerates with ease, and tenacious forward motion is just a slight twist of throttle away. However, the delectable, inexhaustible flow of power from the triples 2.3 liters engine can be effortlessly controlled using only two fingers. The Rocket III has a low centre of gravity and composed riding position giving a fine sense of balance and control. It sails round corners that would make most cruisers twitch making the Rocket III a truly useable machine that can cruise streets or hustle turns with equal and effortless ability. The Rocket IIIs chassis is something quite special and centers on a large tubular steel twin-spine frame, which houses the motor. It has a maintenance-free shaft drive that lays power to the massive 240/50-section rear tire. 43 mm upside down forks and spring preload adjustable twin rear shocks built specifically for the Rocket III add control, composure and supple compliance. The front brakes are sports bike specification twin four-piston calipers mated with 320 mm floating discs and provide awesome stopping power. The rear brake, developed by Brembo especially, is a single twin piston caliper and 316 mm disc. The choices a Rocket III owner can make to customize and enhance their bike are huge; street-rodders can add exhaust pipes and a host of chrome parts including engine dresser bars and side panels. For those that want to travel far there are leather panniers that are constructed from the highest quality 4 mm aniline leather and feature triple themed detailing and quick release chromed buckles.
