2006 DUCATI 999, I had a deposit on this but it just expired so call me if you are interested. It is a rebuildable, that we repaired, titled and is ready to rock. we just fininshed repainting the body work gunmetal gray and black, and have posted some new pics , along with the old ones .IT LOOKS GORGEOUS .I put about 900 miles on it and its all good. it is the last of the series which is always the most improved and refined. the championship winning race tech has trickled down well . this model has the higher horsepower, deep sump motor, braced RS swingarm and other goodies, that will give japan's big guns a real run for the money. the mapping and the electronics are so well refined, even at lower rpm riding. 'member how the older injection systems made them shake like a dog pooping out a peach pit if you tried to start out or ride slower, or got caught out at with your revs down ? this one launches right off idle with buttery smoothness. even below 3 0r 4 grand, making it a much better STRRET bike than my 1098 that i am replacing it with. if you havent ridden one of these in years you will be shocked. sweet runner and handler. i have the lower fairings off somtimes, chosing to leave it naked. it looks way cool that way ,resembling a science project, or a show and tell item for physics class. draws more of a good crowd undressed, through curious revelation, than it does with its clothes on. use your imagination here, to get my point. i also installed heli bars for comfort, and a bar end mirror that actually allows you to see behind you on both sides, instead of the useless factory ornaments. i used matte black on the headlight housing instead of the silver, which really integrates the front view of the bike, transforming it's controversial appearance. i am also including a termignoni slip on which i never installed. sound like you?
