1984 Bmw R100CR, SOLD Congratulations Scott! - You are looking at a 1984 BMW R100CR (Café Racer) that you need to see to believe! This motorcycle looks and rides just like it left the factory! Darrells latest creation will leave you awe struck and looking for a way to park it in your garage. Not many have the mechanical aptitude and attention to detail to create such a beautiful restoration. This bike began its life as a 1984 BMW R100CS, and during this restoration nothing was left untouched. The bike was taken down the bare frame and powder coated. The engine was taken down to the block then bead blasted. The engine was rebuilt with new OEM BMW components. It also got a new battery, new valves, the transmission was checked, cleaned, and resealed. New rear splines, and a beautiful red paint job done by well known local body shop. There isn't a scratch on it and it only has 25 miles on it since the restoration was completed. Other new components include a New German Cafe Racer Seat, Ohlins piggyback rear shocks, Progressive front springs, New Metzeler tires, New OEM BMW European control switches, New OEM BMW Fuel Tank, New front to back exhaust, Napolean bar end mirrors, Frame braces, Aluminum top triple clamp, and Spiegler steel braided brake lines. Ride this air-head to any classic European bike meet and I guarantee youll receive lots of positive attention! This R100CR is better than new. So to summarize, if it is a wear item it has been replaced, if it is a seal item it has been resealed, and if it is a paint item it has been repainted. Stop by Second Wind BMW to see this masterpiece in person before its gone.
